What does Moldlife®Sense offer?
With HACK® Moldlife®Sense
constant monitoring of the lifecycle of the
mold, instant feedback on technical faults, production down-time and
maintenance is immediately at hand. To guarentee keeping costs low,
Sense triggers notifications either to the operator or the controller
if and when faults or irregularities are picked up by the sensors.

Which sensors are included in Moldlife®Sense?
Structure-borne noise sensors
and vibration sensors
The comprehensive range of sensors in the Moldlife®Sense
system from HACK® include structure-borne noise sensors
and vibration sensors, high-resolution videocameras,
flow sensors, thermal sensors as well as a digital cycle
counter to name but a few. They have the ability to
recognise the slightest discrepancies in alignment
and abnormal wear of the mold and even the
flow sensors are fully-integrated into the
system. Further enhancements mean
that precise pressure measurments in
injection molds are now possible.
How does Moldlife®Sense operate?
The innovative HACK® Moldlife®Sense
is a fully-integrated, fully-automated stand-
alone system. It does not require additional
expertise or operator handling. The HACK®
system is configured and adapted
by HACK specifically and uniquely for your desired
mold. The beauty of the HACK® Moldlife®Sense
is, it does not need to be connected to the internet to be fully
functional. Only for remote diagnostics, the system needs to be
connected to the internet. This is quite simply done using the
intuitive mold-integrated touchscreen.

How does Moldlife®Sense notify the user?
Flexible notification options from HACK® Moldlife®Sense
system include visual as well as acoustic alerts from the
plastic-injected mold or by using the optional controlling inter-
face. The controller interface offers a graphical representation
of the whole array of values measured by the sensors on any
computer on the local network. We provide you with a detailed
lifecycle of your mold with the possibility to retrieve various
data such as downtimes, maintenance intervals and malfunc-
tions as required. Now it’s possible to get notifications from
the control unit using OPC-UA and through a further interface
